Results are percentages above your own baseline, taken at intake from the average of your last three months. A small business competes fairly with a large one.

The rules

In plain English.

  • Entry is once per business. One business can enter only once, in one city.
  • Entry requires attending the build day, completing the intake baseline, the day-30 check-in and the day-60 re-score.
  • Every new client needs an invoice or a signed contract. Revenue needs invoices or bank statements.
  • Every ticket tier is scored the same way. One-on-one support is disclosed and does not change a score.
  • A minimum score applies. If nobody reaches it, the unawarded prize rolls into the next edition.
  • The measurement window closes Friday 5 March. Evidence is due Friday 12 March.
  • Winners agree that their results can be used in marketing.
  • The prize is judged on stated criteria and evidence. Nothing is left to random selection.
How it is verified

Evidence, not self-reporting.

An independent accountant verifies the top-scoring entries. Every winner is verified in full before any payout. At least one judge sits outside Brian's team and the experts.

Verification runs Monday 15 to Friday 19 March. January and February can be slow for some businesses. Results are measured against each founder's own baseline, so the scoring stays fair.
